General Information

1. Your dog must have a complete, up-to-date and approved application on file. CLICK HERE to download the application form.

2. All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations. Owners must submit proof of current DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza and Parvovirus ), Bordetella (kennel cough) and Rabies vaccinations as well as a negative fecal float test (conducted within the last year) prior to daycare or boarding your dog with us.

3. Your dog must complete a one-time screening/temperament test to ensure that your dog's temperament is a good fit with our other guests (safety is our top priority, and aggressive or unfriendly behavior can be dangerous for both dogs and staff members alike). The temperament test can be done at the same time you come to do meet and greet.

Policies and Procedures

Application: All dogs must have a complete, up-to-date and approved Application on file.

Behavior:  All dogs must be non-aggressive. Owners will certify their dogs have not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dogs. Please remember that your dog(s) will be spending time with other dogs and the safety and health of the pack is our main concern.

Drop-off/Pick-up: Boarding rates are based on a per 24 hour period, which is based on the time of drop off and the time of pick up. All dogs must be picked up before close of business at 7:00 p.m. on day of scheduled pick-up, unless previous arrangements have been made. Pick-ups after 7:00 p.m. will be charged for an additional overnight stay.

Nail Trims & Coats: We ask that you please trim your dogs nails to appropriate length prior to dropping off. We also request that you de-shed your dogs coat prior to dropping off.

Health: All dogs must be clean and in good health, and must not have fleas (we strongly recommend that your dog receive some form of monthly topical flea treatment plan - please consult your veterinarian for more information about flea treatment options). All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations. Reservations/Cancellations: We require a 100% deposit to reserve your boarding reservation. This deposit is due at the time of the reservation. No reservations shall be made without a deposit. We have a no cancellation policy. Cancellations will result in you forfeiting your entire boarding deposit regardless of the cause.

Holidays Surcharge: There is a $10 surcharge per dog per day for daycare and boarding on the following holidays: Memorial Day (May 26th - 31st); 4th of July (July 3rd - 6th); Labor Day (Sept. 2nd - 6th); Thanksgiving (November 24th - 30th); Winter Break (Dec. 18th - Jan. 4th).

Legal Stuff: Our policies, procedures, services and rates may change from time to time. It is your responsibility to check back on our web site regularly so that you are aware of our most current policies, procedures, services and rates. Guests must sign a statement, agreeing to adhere to the Little Paws Dog Care policies and procedures, to be responsible for any damage done by the dog, and to absolve Little Paws Dog Care of any liability if the dog is injured. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone anytime.
